Peter Vale is one of England's most successful songwriters in the fields of Soul & R’n’B. Among the international artists for whom he – mostly with his co-writer Mick Leeson - has written songs are Paul Young, Jim Capaldi, Sheena Easton, Jermaine Jackson, Commodores, Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, Eddie Money, Mica Paris, Haywoode, Lemar etc. His leading co-written all-time greatest hits 'Would I Lie To You' for Charles & Eddie, recently covered by dance guru David Guetta, and - co-written with Paul Carrack and Jim Capaldi -  'Love Will Keep Us Alive' for the legendary, multi-platinum reunion album 'Hell Freezes Over' by the Eagles, are unforgotten and highly topical.

Peter Vale proves that he is also an excellent 'soulful’ singer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist with his original remastered recordings on the 2021-album 'Deep River‘, which also includes four brand-new productions.

Peter Vale’s American smash hit, ‘Take Me Home Tonight’, written for Eddie Money in 1985, was not only a number one hit in America, but also  took the international charts by storm and is still one of the most frequently played songs in America. In 2020, the writers received the BMI 8-Million- Plays Award for it.

For the new 2021 version, writer/artist/arranger/producer Peter Vale has succeeded in producing a contemporary pop/soul version of the 1985 rock-recording. Of course it has the famous feature line of the legendary Ronettes ‘Be My Little Baby‘. The song is now available as a Deep River album version and as a brilliant pop/soul remix version from JEO, leading the way as a double single from the forthcoming album ‘Deep River’.

'Deep River' contains twelve 90’s songs, all of them big hits written by Peter Vale, mostly with his co-writer Mick Leeson, for famous international artists. An impressive series of musical gems, which have helped their original artists to great, often worldwide success. Besides 'Would I Lie To You' for Charles & Eddie, 'Love Will Keep Us Alive' for the legendary Eagles, and ’I’ll Be There’ for the master of soul Ray Charles, the album also contains an impressive 2021-Pop/Soul version of the worldwide 80’s rock hit 'Take me Home Tonight' by Eddie Money, as well as 3 other brand new songs, which impressively prove that Peter Vale is indeed one of the great UK-songwriters / singers, especially in the popular soul area, always on his way to the next big song. The album DEEP RIVER will be released in September 2021 (t.b.a.)
